The X9000 delivers the ability to scale beyond traditional storage systems in both capacity up to 16 petabytes in a single namespace, and performance up to 3.2GB/s of throughput that's independently scalable from capacity.
A single management interface allows the administrator to manage not just terabytes but multiple petabyte systems. And it is highly affordable—with both low overall acquisition costs and low operational costs.
The Ocarina ECOsystem integrates directly with the X9000 system as a software solution running on segment servers. This simple solution provides a transparently integrated best-of-breed dedupe and compression solution that delivers industry leading data reduction across a wide variety of applications including large-enterprise, Internet media, film production, life sciences, healthcare, and GIS.
